Samhain also known by his real name Akakios is the main antagonist of the comic book seriesHack/Slash.
History[]
Akakios was the first Slasher and The founder of the Black Lamps and the oldest slasher still active, he's been undead for about 2500 years, and originates from the Greek city of Panopolis.
At some point in the 20th century, treacherous Black Lamp underlings deposed him and magically destroyed his memories, renaming him "Samhain" and using him as the Society's top assassin. The resulting confusion led to him developing benevolent feelings for a while and falling in love with Cassie, until a failed attempt to turn him human led to him recovering his memories and being returned to his old self.
A slasher who was used by the Society of the Black Lamp to attempt to kill Cassie, but is developing human feelings and has become a creepy ally to her.
Sadly Samhain later returns to his old self and goes after Cassie and her friend s to kill them all.
Eventually during the army of Darkness crossover Akakios finally meets his demise at the hands of Cassie.He also had a clone son named October.

As the first Slasher Akikos/Samhain has superhuman,strength,speed,and Stamina as well as a healing factor.He can also use magic.
