Alas, football is his calling. When you get a Florida State football offer your basketball career’s life is nearing its end. Look at the wonderful college football options already on his offer list: Western Michigan, Yale, Western Kentucky, Tulane, Tennessee Tech, Miami (Oh), Florida State, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, Army, Akron, Coastal Carolina.

Latest Looks: Ohio State offered late May and now locked in a visit! Felix will check out Columbus, Ohio and the Buckeye program June 15th.

Andrew’s Angle: I have said it for months now. Felix is not tethered to the state of Tennessee outside of HHCA and will not be a lock for Tennessee or Vandy. He did not grow up a Vol fan like many residents and does not have an SEC-bias. Ohio State has a real shot here.

News: Nash adds an Ole Miss offer.

Andrew’s Angle: In our yet-to-be-released 2024 rankings Nash is top 3 in the state. His brilliance was apparent to Briarcrest Christian a couple of years ago when Two-time State Champion and Head Coach John Harrington hand-picked Nash as the heir-apparent to Kennedy Chandler. He currently reports Memphis, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Texas Southern offers too. Offering a 15u basketball player is kind of silly in that he remains at least 2 years away from graduating high school.

Ole Miss has offered 2024 PG Jaye Nash (Briarcrest/Team Thad 15U).

News: Malik will take a visit to Nebraska this month.

Andrew’s Angle:Honestly, Malik is still months away from reaching his recruiting peak. I don’t think many college coaches have seen him and obviously none have seen him in person. Team Thad and July will be a marriage made in heaven for Malik.

News: Many elite camps reached out to invite Paxton: Tennessee Tech, Youngstown, UAH, Southern Illinois, Northwest Georgia, Barry University.

Andrew’s Angle: Paxton is a guy that looked the part three years ago at our first combine (Murfreesboro) He suffered a minor injury two years ago and also played behind Will Pruitt Will Pruitt 6'1" | PG Mt. Juliet | 2020 State TN for a winter. This summer has been a breakout experience for the talented, tall, skilled guard. “I love Chip (Smith of TN Tigers),” said Davidson last week. He is very honest and upfront about everything! My role has been fun for me because it’s everything I do best. I have been playing pretty well so far and I’m very excited for July during live period!”

Braeden Moore Braeden Moore 6'8" | PF Christ Presbyterian Academy | 2022 CA-S (C.P.A.) Ranked #5 in TN

News: Braeden scheduled an official visit to Rutgers on June 28th, per @BobbyDeren. Wisconsin will host him June 18th.

Andrew’s Angle: Expect visits to Notre Dame, Rice, TCU, and Nebraska. Braeden is wide-open with a high upside game. Last season he was named Mr. Basketball Finalist.

Jarrod Taylor Jarrod Taylor 6'3" | CG East Nashville | 2022 State TN Ranked #97 in TN

News: Some talk from IUPUI and McNeese State is finding Taylor’s ears.

Andrew’s Angle: Jarrod is playing for the Tennessee Panthers AAU team. He attended Salem High (GA) last school year, but is apparently moving back to Tennessee, per AAU coach. Taylor started a bit for East Nashville as a sophom*ore.

News: In a quick interview, Fann shared information on elite camp invitations: Marietta College, Lyons College.
